Patented Door and Lock System for Ultimate Security
In addition to thick 4-inch-long locking bolts all along the left side of the door, the S19 features a unique and patented hinge system that allows the right side of the door to close all the way inside the safe body, thus interlocking the entire hinge side of the door rather than just the small area of a fixed bolt. This makes it impossible to pry the door on the right side, with the edge completely hidden as it closes behind the exterior safe body.

Cannon Safe’s electronic locks come standard at no extra cost and are rated as UL type 1 locks, which means they are manipulation-proof and offer greater security than mechanical locks. Powered by a 9-volt battery, the S19’s electronic lock is quick and easy to use, and the authorized user can change the combination without a locksmith. In order to more fully protect the lock, the S19 safe has three layers of extra-hard, 60-plus RC alloy steel hard-plate in the safe door in front of the lock. Each hard plate is hardened on both sides, offering six layers of security and making it virtually impossible for a thief to drill through and attack the lock, as most drill bits will crumble before penetrating to the lock.

For additional security each Scout Series safe has two relocking mechanisms on the inside of the door that are activated if the lock is tampered with. This means that were your safe lock to be attacked, one spring-activated relocker attached to the lock would be activated to keep the locking bolt from retracting. The second relocker is independent of the lock and would also be activated, permanently locking the safe even if the lock is destroyed.

Steel reinforcing brackets located on the inside of the door at each locking bolt location protect against prying the safe door open. These anti-pry reinforcement brackets—along with the unique internal door and 4-inch-long blots—are designed to prevent any stress or force from being applied directly to the bolt-work mechanism, making it much harder to pry the safe open.

Industry-Leading Technology
Cannon Safe is the only company offering a state-of-the-art internal power supply system with two 110-volt power outlets and pass-through feature. The USB port and RJ45 Ethernet connection with pass-through keep computers and other electronics charged and connected while safely secured within your safe. All six sides of the safe are fully insulated using thick 5/8-inch, type X fire board, which is designed to cool the interior as the temperature climbs. Cannon Safe’s unique hinge allows for a fully lined internal body, eliminating hot spots and keeping the interior sealed tight.
